With the improvement of the quality of paper printing and packaging products, fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machines have been increasingly widely used in the paper packaging and printing industry. However, due to the lack of maintenance knowledge among operators, the machines have experienced numerous malfunctions, directly affecting the normal operation of production, resulting in increased production costs, disrupting production schedules, and having a significant impact on delivery times. In order to further improve the operation process of the fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machine, promote new technologies of die-cutting machines, and enhance modern operating standards, the author summarizes some maintenance points and knowledge of the fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machine based on years of work experience in this field, and exchanges and shares them with colleagues.

1、 Operators should pay attention to dust prevention and cleaning. In actual production, a large amount of waste paper edges and paper fibers will be generated when die-cutting paper boxes. If not careful, they may enter the chain transmission part, die-cutting moving platform, and some rotating parts, and may block the photoelectric detection head, causing malfunctions. So, it is essential to prioritize the cleaning of the die-cutting machine body before ensuring that the machine operates without any malfunctions.

2、 Oil change of die-cutting machine. The main action of the die-cutting machine is that the main motor drives the sliding rod and pulley, and then drives the four pairs of elbow rods to move. It can reach 6000 sheets per hour during high-speed operation, and it is very troublesome without good lubrication and cooling. Lubrication maintenance is divided into daily maintenance, weekly maintenance, and monthly maintenance, as shown in the following table:

Maintaining the machine is something that every operator must do. 3、 Common faults of die-cutting machines should be promptly eliminated. In terms of machinery, a common malfunction of fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machines is the phenomenon of platform tilting. This situation is often caused by foreign objects falling into the die-cutting area. Generally, the two wedge-shaped positions under the shaft should be dragged, and the platform should be rotated to the upper limit point. At this point, check its relative position with the upper cleaning platform to ensure the distance between the four angles of the moving platform and the upper cleaning platform (where the die-cutting board is clamped), which can solve the problem. Electrical faults include: The central control system of the fully automatic die-cutting machine uses a programmable logic controller (PLC), which is the main detection point for electrical switches and output actions. The internal program of the PLC is a ladder logic diagram. So when there is an electrical problem, maintenance personnel first need to understand its ladder logic diagram to determine and find the cause of the fault, so that the problem can be quickly solved. Whether it is a fully automatic or semi-automatic flatbed die-cutting machine, it requires professional personnel to refuel and maintain it. It is necessary to understand the structure and performance of the machine in order to maintain it well.
